The overhead projector is a device found in all schools; it is a very interesting tool that, when used with imagination, opens up many possibilities.
OBJECTIVES
- The purpose of the course is to teach how to carry out a small dramatization using shadows projected from an overhead projector.
- With this way of working with shadows, very good results are achieved in a relatively short time.
- This is a very practical course.
- The objective of the course is to perform a small staging of a story, poem or song.
- Students work in groups.
- The course aims to introduce the basic techniques involved in the development of this theatrical genre.
CONTENTS
- Technique for planning a show: Making the Storyboard
- Creation of silhouettes and decorations in black and color.
- Work based on the overhead projector of transparencies. The overhead projector as a basic support for light.
- Introduction to voice characterization and interpretation.
- Staging.
METHODOLOGY
- All work will be centered around the development of a small show, poem or song.
- The starting point will be the argument of a simple narrative and from this, we will introduce ourselves to the technical knowledge of the different plastic and dramatic aspects that make up this form of representation.
